In its ninth edition, the at.tension theatre festival invites you to an international theatre and contemporary circus programme in the unique scenery of the spacious Kulturkosmos site for four intense days from September 8-11.
On April 10, May 10 and August 10, 2022, presales will take place online in the Ticket Shop on the website www.attension-festival.de. For the first time, Kulturkosmos Müritz e.V. is offering staggered ticket prices of 110,-, 150,- and 190,- €, which guests can choose from.
The Regular Ticket costs 150 € and covers the generally increased costs to be able to realise the festival. For those who cannot afford the Regular Ticket, there is the limited Minimal Ticket at a price of 110 €. Those who want to participate in the cultural work of the Kulturkosmos association and make it possible for others to buy the Minimal Ticket, can buy the Solidarity Ticket for 190 €. All ticket prices include overnight accommodation at the adjoining camping site with a bathing lake.
In order to provide the infrastructure for the youngest children as well, the Toddler Ticket for 0 to 5-year-olds costs 20 €. The Kid Ticket for all 6 to 15-year-olds costs 50 € and co-finances the varied children's programme. Everyone over the age of 16 needs an adult ticket.
Since the at.tension Festival does without public funding as far as possible and thus wants to maintain the greatest possible freedom in its programming and structure, the financing of the festival is fundamentally based on ticket revenue and a substantial subsidy from Kulturkosmos Müritz association. La Barque Acide: The End is Nigh!
Based on the premise that all is fucked but not all is lost, La Barque Acide take us on a post-apocalyptic circus trip. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the toast that falls butter side down. A brilliant, multi-faceted contemporary circus with 9 young artists from 8 different nations. La Barque Acide have made made such an impression in Lärz that after the premiere at the be.tween Theatre Festival, they have also been invited to this year's at.tension.

La Pendue: Poli Degain
The much celebrated and award-winning production Poli Degain comes to the at.tension Festival: An opulent puppet theatre with furious tempo, unleashed comedy and unexpected twists. The character of Poli (chinelle) is based on a 400-year-old tradition and is brought to the stage in the most spectacular form by the two puppeteers of La Pendue. Poli laughs at everything. Even about death.
Aerial acrobatics & live music
La Burrasca: Marée Noire
Marée Noire is impressive aerial acrobatics at the dizzying height of a construction crane with live music. Four women find themselves in a shattered future. Their world has burnt down and the past sticks to them like an oil slick on the beach. In this post-apocalyptic scenario, they are looking for ways to free themselves and to and reshape their world.
