Do you fancy a varied and challenging job in Lärz on the Kulturkosmos Festival site or in the Berlin office? We are currently looking for reinforcement in four different crews to start the Fusion planning with full speed ahead.

We are looking for experienced colleagues for a temporary position from April to early July 2023 for the pre production of the Fusion Festival in both the Artist Care and the Tech Crew.

We are also looking for colleagues for a temporary position of one year in both the accounting department and in the ticketing team in the Berlin office, with the option of a future permanent position.

All jobs have a high workload around the festival time in the summer months.

WORKING IN ARTIST CARE IN LÄRZ // PRE PRODUCTION OF THE FUSION FESTIVAL

Kulturkosmos Müritz e.V. is looking for festival pre production colleagues for the Artist Care team for the period from the end of April to the beginning of July 2023.

Job summary:

The Fusion Festival has about 1300 bookings and around 40 different venues. For this, there is a lot of work to be done in the pre production phase in the back office of the Artist Care team on site in Lärz. Your responsibilities include comprehensive, early and friendly communication by email and telephone with the artists and agencies booked for the festival. You will be responsible for processing contracts, planning arrivals and departures (train, flight, bus, shuttle service), planning accommodation (artist camp, hotel, holiday flats, etc.), checking the timetable and auditing invoices. This requires thorough and extensive work in and with a database.

Your qualifications:

A degree or training qualification is not a requirement for the position. However, several years of professional experience in the field of artist care with a focus on pre production is an advantage. The following skills are important for us:

  • Thorough and solution oriented way of working

  • Capability to work under pressure and stress
  • Confident handling of all common MS Office applications
  • Confident communication skills, both written and spoken, in German and English
  • Affinity for computer work and an interest in working with databases

WORKING IN THE TICKETING TEAM IN BERLIN

Kulturkosmos Müritz e.V. is looking for a colleague for the Ticketing Team in the Berlin office as soon as possible.

Job summary:

The ticket pre sales for the Fusion Festival and the at.tension Theatre Festival are carried out independently by the Kulturkosmos. Your responsibilities include planning the ticketing process in accordance with the association's guidelines, coordinating with the various IT departments and configuring the ticket shop software on an ongoing basis. Furthermore, your tasks include answering ticket questions via email, checking the legal framework and preparing for the admission and check in situation at the festival entrance. At the festivals you are part of the coordination for the check in with three check in areas and a crew of about 80 people.

Your qualifications:

A degree or training qualification is not a requirement for the position. The following skills are important for us:

  •     Organisational talent
  •     Experience and fun with office software (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)
  •     Ability to learn quickly and an interest in new computer stuff
  •     Fun with texts and accuracy in spelling
  •     Confident communication skills in German and English
  •     Interest in data management
  •     Ability to work in a team with flat hierarchies
  •     Capability to work under pressure, especially during the busy festival period
  •     Living in Berlin

WORKING IN THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT IN BERLIN

Kulturkosmos Müritz e.V. is looking for a colleague in the accounting department in the Berlin office as soon as possible.

Job summary:

There is a lot of work to be done in the accounting department of the Kulturkosmos, especially after the festivals, but also throughout the year. We need reinforcement for this. Your responsibilities will include ongoing bookkeeping and monthly advance VAT returns, preparatory work for the annual financial statement as well as the preparation of business analyses for the management and individual departments. Furthermore, you will be actively involved in the digitalisation of work processes.

Your qualifications:

For this position, you should have completed an apprenticeship and have at least two years of professional experience in accounting. Furthermore, the following skills are important for us:

  •  Thorough and structured way of working
  •  Organisational talent
  •  Very good knowledge of MS Office and DATEV
  •  Good communication skills
  •  Confident communication skills in German and English
  •  Ability to work in a team with flat hierarchies
  •  Living in Berlin
