Stück für Stück erkundet Martin Gretschmann seit über 20 Jahren immer neue Spielflächen der Musik, abseits der ausgetreten Mainstream-Pfade: psychedelisch, abenteuerlustig und voller Musikalität. Unter dem Soloprojektnamen Acid Pauli entstanden in dem letzten Jahren mehrere Platten, Remixe, Radiosendungen Filme und Hörspiele – letztere in Zusammenarbeit mit Andreas Ammer. Neben zahlreichen Kollaborationen zum Beispiel mit Björk oder dem Philharmonischen Orchester Würzburg findet Gretschmann immer neuer Wege um sich auszudrücken. Hierfür wurde eigens ein elektronisches Gerät entwickelt, das für ein gesamtes Jahr kontinuierlich ein Hörspiel zum Jahrhundertroman – Unendlicher Spaß – von David Foster Wallace produzierte.

Add-us is a DJ and producer duo, which consists of the two friends Robert and Patrick. After 4 years break from the music the two teamed up in 2018 for the project Add-us. The duo produce music with strong techno lines and emotional parts in its breaks or drops to goosebumps moments. Asa started making music at the age of six, first learning classical piano and guitar, later specialising in music theory and composition, jazz and improvisation. Driven by their love for electronic music, Asa started producing and DJing as ASA 808, releasing on George FitzGerald's ManMakeMusic, Soundspace, Blank, Yarn Audio and their own TOYS imprint. Pushing the boundaries of techno, house and bass elements, ASA 808 combines classical instruments with analogue synths and drum machines.

Being one of the most in-demand Techno DJs of our times, Ben Klock needs little introduction. His name has been closely associated with Berlin’s legendary club Berghain since 2005. His monthly residency has formed the backdrop to his international success, providing an invaluable platform for his ability to create a room rather than just play to it. Much of his early career was marked by marathon sets – a signature that played a considerable role in nurturing his skills and reputation – but even the more compressed sets he shares today evidence an intricate narrative and sense of flow that defines him as a DJ. It was these inherent abilities that led him to compile the fabric 66 compilation in 2012, before winning the BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year award in 2015. His releases on Ostgut Ton have become landmarks in the imprint’s history. 2009’s “Dawning”, the first of his collaborations with Marcel Dettmann kickstarted the label itself and remains a stand-out track in its discography. Another release of particular note is the Before One EP including “Subzero”, which many techno lovers still refer to as their gateway track into the whole genre itself. For many, however, it is his album One (2009) that best captures Klock’s talents as a producer. His skills as a remixer have also seen him rework tracks by a wide variety of artists, including Kerri Chandler, Depeche Mode, Robert Hood and Kenny Larkin. Additionally, Klock curates with great passion his own label Klockworks, founded in 2006. With releases from DVS1, Stef Mendesidis, The Advent, Sterac, Etapp Kyle, Temudo and many more Klockworks became a synonym for unique, high quality Techno. In 2017 Ben started his own event series PHOTON which is a unique concept show that blends light, architecture and music. Since then he toured PHOTON at special venues in major cities around the world such as Printworks (London), Gashouder (Amsterdam), Arca (Sao Paolo), to name a few. It quickly became a new standard for audio visual electronic music events. In 2023 the project returns after a pandemic induced break with a brand new visual and artistic concept.

BRKN1 (sprich: Broken One) ist ein DJ und angehender Produzent aus Leipzig. Er fing Anfang der Nullerjahre an, die Platten zu sammeln, die er selber damals in der DnB-Landschaft Dresdens am Wochenende hörte und war sehr schnell mit dem Importvirus aus UK infiziert. Coming from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Dagga spent his younger years going to his big brother's raves, absorbing raw techno sounds and futuristic electro from labels of the time, such as gigolo records. In 2020 he released his first ep, House of Flying Daggers, on Jensen Interceptor's INTERNATIONAL CHROME. At the end of 2020 he released his first LP on Mall Grab's Steel City Dance discs, largely a solo record, taking a different approach with 12 track attack full fast techno, old school gabber, breaks, and banging electro. This album is full of nostalgic hip hop samples mixed with 90's ravey sounds. It contains heaters like "move that junk" and "hype and dope." Dagga's work and DJ sets are constantly rocking dance floors with no holds-barred.

A native of Gera, Ruh has been firmly settled in Berlin for over a decade now, with Germany’s capital continuing to play a profound effect on her unique way of working.
An impressively multifaceted musician, Ruh’s early sound was often characterised by its subtle, minimal tropes, although these days she’s equally as likely to champion classy, up-tempo house as she is a tougher, more peak-time techno vibe.

Daniel Imhof is a musician based close to Bern in Switzerland. After decades of djaying he has discovered the magic of electric tension and produces music in his modular landscape: sonic creations that hover somewhere between minimalist rhythm patterns and floating soundscapes. He recently contributed the ambient track “l’île verte” to a release of the label “Peace on earth” and the Song “Glücksfee” for the “Heitere Fahne” an inclusive cultural meltingpot. Dancefloor releases on Random Collective Records and Monada. His monthly ambient show "Voyage" on Sunday mornings from 8 to 10 am is an invitation to listen deeply, to lie down, to daydream. Occasionally Daniel plays for sleep concerts or other kinds of horizontal meditations.

Derrick ist Sound-und Subkultur-Aktivist der ersten Stunde. Seit Mitte der 90er Jahre ist er als DJ und Veranstalter mit der Leipziger Ulan Bator Crew in Leipzig aktiv. Die Crew und Er sind verantwortlich für zahlreiche Bassmusik-Veranstaltungsserien in Locations wie Distillery, Elipamanoke, Conne Island, IFZ (DnB Reloaded) und G16 (3TAKTER). Basslastige Releases gibt es auf „Ulan Bator Records“ und dem Sublabel „Junglelivity“. Seit 2018 ist das Kollektiv gemeinsam mit anderen Leipziger Bass-Music-Crews, auf dem FUSION-Festival mit dem eigenen Floor „SUBARDO“ vertreten. Technology and exploration are at the roots of Hiroko’s core. Equally enthralled by the beat and the machines generating them, her sound is an homage to every circuit, resistor, patch cord and application that brings voice and inspiration to her work. Her gothic and industrial roots are evident in her music, as well as her punk rock DIY drive. Hundread is a Czech raggajungle soldier who fell in love with this genre in the early 2000s. Since then, he has made his name as a DJ and producer not only across the Czech Republic, where he is from, but also across Europe. He has played on almost every major festival and club in CZ, and had the honour of playing his music in such countries as England, Ireland, Spain, Germany and Slovakia. In his mixes, he combines the sounds of raggajungle music with deep wobbly rollers, which result in an energetic 3-deck performance that won’t leave you standing still.

Hye-Eun Kim and Paulina Allamah aka Jakotoko are between Hamburg's club environments and its art scene. Hye-Eun, born in Berlin, is an improviser, a sculptor and an occasional – classically trained – instrumentalist, performing from Golden Pudel to Kaserne Basel. Her style can be most easily described as the moment when a hiss or a dry loop becomes complex information, an accentuated paGern – if necessary, a breakbeat. Paulina is an elusive force behind Sleeping People listening parFes, gracing the DJ booths, DJ stands and DJ carriages at Kraniche bei den Elbbruecken, Paripar-Festival & was a part of Polnischer Abgang DJ team. She has a soK spot for obscure lyricism, great chasms as well as noisy twists and doesn't like to be told what to do! Hye-Eun & Paulina are no strangers to imperfect groove.

1998 entfachte I Double M-O's Leidenschaft zu Drum&Bass. Kurz darauf kaufte er sich eigene Turntables und übte damit fleißig Auflegen. Seine Freunde nannten ihn damals Immo, woraus sich sein Alias entwickelte. For some individuals, career choices seem to turn out naturally. Julius Debler (aka) “Introversion” is one of them: “I never planned a music career, it just happened. I started making music in my early childhood.” Now, the 27-year-old Berliner by choice who defines himself as producer, sound designer and DJ is part of the new generation of young talents gaining a foothold in the electronic music industry by shaping it with an own and pioneering style. In terms of producing, drums play a significant role in Introversion’s compositions (it was the first instrument he laid his hands on in adolescent years). Many are breakbeat focused – not just the odd track here and there, it is definitely something that permanently defines his style. Other common denominators in his work are the continuous exploration of infusing furious dark 90’s inspired techno with melancholic trance elements. Drums in full attack or wild synth stabs often get calmed by an emerging wave of classic trance chords finding their way into the arrangement.

Unter dem Alias "French Navigator" veröffentlichte die deutsch-französische Künstlerin in England ein Downbeat & Breaks Album. Die Arrangements mit geschickten sphärischen Synthschwaden im Hintergrund eröffnen eine einstündige Klanggeschichte. Morphobelle, so der Name des Albums, beschreibt eine vertonte Entwicklung von einem Cocoon bis hin zum ausgewachsenen Imago. Isabells Umgang mit Loops, Effekten oder Drums während den Dj-Sets, erzeugt eine ähnliche Vielschichtigkeit, welche man weiteren Kompositionen entnehmen kann. Die Genres variieren im elektronischen Spektrum und deshalb überraschen die Sets zu jedem Auftritt wie eine Wundertüte in Kindshänden.

Downtempo, house, indie dance, funk, Brazilian music, experimental and a touch of pop. These are the genres that embraces Isadoser’s sound, the musical project of the Brazilian countryside-born Isadora Otoni. The DJ and producer lives in the paradisiacal area of Chapada dos Veadeiros, but she connected with the electronic underground music in São Paulo. Her first gig was at Voodoohop in 2015. Since then, she played in many parties of the underground circuit, in cities such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Goiânia, Palmas, Trancoso, Campinas and Prague (CZ). She was in the lineup of festivals like Universo Paralello, Rock the Mountain, Signal, Pulsar, Trama, and in the virtual editions of Burning Man and Beco Elétrico. Her productions have seen releases by labels like Tropical Twista Records, Shango Records, Casa Caos, Fértil Discos and Budaboom. She is also a resident DJ of Veludo collective, from Belo Horizonte.

Jana Falcon is a Vinyl Cutting Engineer, DJ and producer based in Berlin. She grew up in the 1990s with Euro Dance, UK Garage and 2 Step. The greater Frankfurt area was her home and became her safe harbour for many wild party nights. She moved from Frankfurt to Berlin around 2011 and very soon the first DJ gigs came up. As an alumni of Berlin's SAE institute it's not quite surprising she started producing, too. In 2016, after a long way to go with producing, mixing, mastering and especially facing up to the art of cutting Vinyl records, her first record was released on “Smile for a while. Her DJ sets combine eclectic UK Garage and old school House tunes with modern, synth-driven House tunes, as well as deep & discoid stuff. Despite her broad influences she's a DJ personality with an instantly recognizable signature sound.

The Leipzig based DJ and producer Janthe started DJing in 2018. Her sound and selection moves between energetic and bouncy house, acid and 90's progressive house with a lot of trippy moments. Jascha Hagen is a musician, record collector and producer. Since 2008 he is constantly thriving to develop and emphasize his signature at making and producing music. Jil Tanner is DJ, producer, singer and label owner. “There are not a lot of things that influenced my life the way Drum and Bass did!” This quote of Gero Heckmanns, aka DJ Kronik, demonstrates the strong intimacy he has with “his music”. The energy behind the strident bass that comprises Drum&Bass has intrigued him since the beginning of the 90s, and has never let go to this day. It was quickly clear that he would end up behind the turntables and so it came that he first started to spin his own records in 2000. As he was a young DJ of great talent, only two months later he landed his first public gig and after a year of exploration, he joined the “DB-Sounddepartment”. Because of their support, his incredible mixing skills and his feel foor music, he soon became one of the most well known Drum&Bass DJs in Germany. His sound ranges from between melancholic and dark, but stays good to dance to and intense.

Laurens grew up with records. At the first contact with electronic music it was still difficult to get the pieces also for home. It was like a hunt for the club hits. I started mixing because I was still too psyched after going to clubs to just sit in a corner and listen to music. Influences were for example Depeche Mode, Underworld and Hip Hop (that’s why some tracks are groovy and included Hip Hop vocals). Where words fail, music speaks. Reserved and solitary, Léa found refuge in music since her childhood. Jazz, soul music or French chansons, family moments usually came and still come hand in hand with music and sharing the joint, somewhat meditative listening experience. An ardent curiosity for Electronic Music started rising in her highschool days, pushing her towards broadening the musical horizon and consequently DJing in parallel to her fashion and design studies. After a few years of exploring parties in Germany and Paris, she co-founded Spectrum in 2017 - a parisian LGBTQ+ collective with tolerance, diversity, freedom, parity and respect at its core. The collective hosts events at Station Gare des Mines, a rehabilitated industrial wasteland and former railway station, to provide a safer space for minority communities, where freedom of expression is lived in all thinkable forms. Through its lineups and podcasts channel, Spectrum highlights emerging French and international DJs and producers. Léa is also at the forefront of promoting women in the Parisian electronic scene. Further commitments go as far as donating parts of the Spectrum earnings to different associations close to her heart such as aid to migrants and refugees, LGBTQIA+ associations or the fight against HIV. Through her collective, she has managed to create a perfect balance between her own desires, ambitions and her fundamental values. Name the unnameable, communicate the unknowable. Spectrum also vastly helped shaping Léa’s musical comprehension and appreciation of Techno as an outlet, which is able to create the same meditative listening experience and togetherness she feels when listening to music with her family. Her sets stand out for their sharp selection and absolute coherence. A mental, groovy Techno fueled by organic, tribal elements – widely reverberating in its uniqueness and class. The creation of an intimate atmosphere and cohesion in each of her sets makes them stand out, equally so does the implementation of feelings and emotions while at the same time following a rather minimalistic approach in the music itself. Revier Südost, Tresor, About Blank or Rote Sonne: Léa enjoys to play in her adopted country, Germany. 2021 has also put her further on the international map with appearances at the highly anticipated Rex Club (Paris) reopening, Name Festival (Lille), or the mysterious ∄ (Kyiv). Léa’s path will continue in 2023, capturing ears and hearts by storm.

Leika und Konrad Dycke trafen sich eines glitzernden Morgens nach durchtanzter Nacht im Schwarzwald, umgeben von Wald und Wiesen. Viele Kaffees später entschlossen sie sich, fortan gemeinsame Wege zu gehen. Nach ihrem zwölfstündigen Debüt sind sie auch hinter den Decks gemeinsam aktiv, und mittlerweile aus der Freiburger Subkultur nicht mehr wegzudenken: Mit ihrer Veranstaltungsreihe MoMo Concerts sind sie die Nr-1-Adresse für Downtempo und elektronische Live-Musik in Freiburg. Mit ihrem Gespür für den richtigen Track im richtigen Moment spielen sie sich seit 2019 sowohl einzeln als auch als Duo Lenkrad durch die Clubs. DJ and producer Marcus Meinhardt is one of the artists that immediately comes to mind when you think about the Berlin club and music scene. This has been his home for many years, where he has built up his own label and been a vital part of many event series and some of the biggest clubs in the city. Although Berlin is his home, Marcus Meinhardt also has a big, international career. He has made a habit out of focusing on the festivals in Europe during the summer months. Romania has quite an extensive history with minimal tech-house. The various waves of talent to bust out of the country have something in common: they were all masters of form and function. Mihai Pol is one of Romania's most notable names emerging, touring the world while keeping it underground.

Mikadho, ein echter Veteran der Szene, ist seit über 25 Jahren auf den Psychedelic-Dancefloors zu finden. Er fing 1995 an, auf den ersten Acid-Partys aufzulegen und machte sich schnell einen Namen in der elektronischen Musikszene, bis heute gibt es Psychedelic Trance mit ordentlich 303 untenrum. Als Resident bei „Freunde der Sonne“, im Atisha und im Waldfrieden, zudem als Veranstalter seiner eigenen Partys "Suncircle" in ganz Deutschland hat Mikadho sein Handwerk verfeinert. Als Mitglied von Free Form Records, Chaishop.com, Cosmicleaf Records und Spin Twist hat Mikadho auch hinter den Kulissen viel Erfahrung sammeln dürfen. Seine Sets bei FSK Radio, die teilweise bis zu acht Stunden dauerten, sind legendär.

Als Kardia 2010 mit dem auflegen anfing, machte er im Wendland kurze Zeit später seine ersten Erfahrungen als Veranstalter. Einige Jahre später zog es ihn dann nach Hamburg, wo er 2016 die Partyreihe "Sub:District" ins Leben rief. Mit dem Fokus auf broken beats drehte sich dann alles um bassige Nächte irgendwo zwischen Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Jungle oder UK Garage. Nach kurzer Zeit wurde nassstya teil der Crew. Durch ihre Leidenschaft für deepe Bassmusik, lag der nächste Schritt nahe und seit 2020 ist nassstya auch hinter den Decks am Start und pusht zusammen mit Kardia den Sub:District typischen Sound in Hamburg. Beim auflegen verbindet beide eine gut durchdachte Vorbereitung ihrer Sets, bei denen ein möglichst harmonisches und basslastiges Hörerlebnis im Vordergrund steht.

Natalie Robinson is a black DJ based in Berlin who’s been blurring classic, deep, garage, underground and soulful house music since 2019. Growing up in a Gypsy-Ghanaian household she had a strong cultural connection to gospel, funk, soul, RnB and traditional Ghanaian music, influences that built a foundation for her house music aesthetics and raucous DJing style. In her early twenties she encountered the force of Berlin's house music scene and, like so many before her, immediately became hooked on the feel-good vibes.

Born in the suburbs of Northeast Madrid,Oscar Der Winzige moved to Berlin 17 years ago. For the last decade, he has been a prominent figure in Berlin's underground music scene. He uses a unique technique that he calls "Radio show", which showcases curious pieces such as demos, home recordings, and subcultural music from all nations. He collaborates closely with his long-time partner Matas Labasauskas on various interdisciplinary projects, including their DJ partnership 'Octatanz', the annual festival 'Braille Satellite', internet radio station 'Radijo Musikii', 'Sucked Orange Gallery', and record label 'Big Band Alone'. Oscar is a resident DJ at Sameheads, OTB, parks, small bars, and private parties.

Although Sama’ Abdulhadi is the first Palestinian DJ to gain international recognition, her career really began when she left home for Beirut’s burgeoning techno scene. Plunging into Lebanon’s nightlife, Abdulhadi gigged, practiced, and got inspired by the many local and international DJs gigging on the scene, while refining her trademark set: high-octane full-bodied techno with a distinct ark, a spectrum of moods, or as she says: “Berlin techno, but I perceive it in a Lebanese way.”

Schmuuv ist ein Musiksammler & Kurator aus Leipzig. Schon als kleiner Junge stand er neben seinem Vater, der in den verrauchten Bars Berlins auflegte und fragte ihn ob er auch mal eine Platte auflegen kann. Über die Jahre entwickelte sich ein sehr breit gefächerter Musikgeschmack, der gerne in fern abgelegene Musiklandschaften auf die Suche nach weirden und trotzdem harmonischen Sounds sucht. Surf 2 Glory is a Berlin based DJ duo formed by Sanaz and Galleur. They're part of the Berlin crews Club Heart Broken and Venus Vessels. Bringing a sort of lesbian Ernie and Bert energy to the booth, Surf 2 Glory never shy away from serving the crowd the most whimsical house and trance music out there, washing waves of pure euphoria over the dance floor as they mix in yet another otherworldly anthem. Interestingly enough, recent studies have shown that it is humanly impossible to stop yourself from smiling during a Surf 2 Glory set. Bogotá-born, Berlin-based Tania Humeres Correa plays under the moniker of her own initials: THC. It’s not a gimmick – to hear a track slammed into another so deftly is a psychoactive experience. THC’s sets are kinetic, propulsive in this way. High-energy without a loss of soul, hard-hitting, and still very playful and very gay. We are reminded that techno need not be a gloomy, rumbling march, and that house has a whole range of attitudes at the same time ruthless and smiling. She blazes, to put it simply.

From Montreal’s Groove & Bass Festival and Victoria’s Esoteric Festival to Berlin’s Sisyphos and Birgit nightclubs, Paddy’s performances are as diverse as the labels on which he features. With mainstay releases on Techgnosis Records, Digital Diamonds, Alula Tunes, Recovery Collective, Alpaka Muzik, and Euphorie Bezirk, the SixthSense Australia resident is steadily defining the electronic music landscape with promising evolution in the years to come.

Wisdom tits is the Berlin-based project by Caillou, French-German artist, one half of MILK ME and Urban Spree music curator, alongside Paty Vapor, Brazilian artist member of the infamous Blum and Wrong Era, a sub label from Slow Motion Rec. Together they run their party series focused on Synthpunk, Wave and EBM female & queer artists to aware and embrace towards gender equality in the music scene. Their dj sets are a blend of harsh drums, sexy bass lines and obscure vocals, mixing synthpunk-bodywave to new beat-industrial they infect the dance floor with their high energy selection.

Trifft ne Sisyphos-Ente auf nen Südpol-Pinguin, legen zusammen ein Downtempo Ei aus dem nach kurzer Brutzeit ein wunderschöner vertrippter Technovogel entschlüpft. So ungefähr kann der musikalische Werdegang von Yobovski und Andi Valent, die sich bereits seit 1312 Jahren kennen und im Laufe der Zeit auch genauso viele Sets miteinander gespielt haben beschreiben. Nebenbei bauen sie seit jeher zwei Clubs und eine Tanzwüste mit auf und plündern jedes vorbeifahrende Bordbistro auf dem Weg zum Treffpunkt am Sonntag vorne links zum Trancefluenzen.

Zayn Kemp is a Berlin-based producer and DJ from New Zealand. Growing up with Māori tradition, and songs passed down from generation to generation, this formed his foundations. Zayn's musical journey began at a young age. At 14, he delved into crate-digging, amassing a collection of 90s hip-hop, early house, jungle, and techno. He has distilled a sound that he has honed through a longstanding career in music, radio, and nightlife. Currently, he regularly performs in Berlin with Cassette Head Sessions, as well as at some of Europe's most iconic festivals. Each set pays homage to a life dedicated to music in all its colours, as well as the dancefloor. Zayn is known for his musical scope and knack for risk-taking. With a passion for house music, at Fusion Festival, you can also expect a set that crosses the spectrum from Italo, world sounds, garage, rap, funk and everything in between.

Seit Ende der Neunziger macht Zunami aus Winterthur sich an den Platten zu schaffen. Vom Techno in den Dub führte ihr Weg, wobei der Bass als Leitblanke dient. In ihren Sets bedient sich verschiedenster Elemente aus Grime, Dancehall, Dubstep, Elektro und Experimental HipHop, welche sie stilsicher ineinanderfügt. So sei der Üppigkeit kein Einhalt geboten und die Sounds sollen und fliessen, solange die Beats einschlagen und der Bass kickt.
